The public have to do the police work as they are useless?

Selebi said the restructuring of the police would lead to a decrease in crime.

He said the "redeployment" would see a substantial increase in staff at police stations.

"A station that had 150 people is getting an additional 135 people, there is no way they can perform in the same way as before," said Selebi.

He said the "proof of the pudding is in the eating" and more police officers on the ground should lead to less crime.

More in the station will mean they will have to do other work that will take them away from the specialist tasks and these tasks will be handled by any fool in the station. Next would be the stations in overmanned and layoffs would result. (Whites of course first) Leaving only incompetent fools with the few real experts to cover!

This country is really doomed. We go from trial to trial and from bad to worse in all spheres of local governing structures. Centralising Hospitals, Technikons, Universities, Municipalities, Districts, Towns. The list can go on! Now the police What next. Soon The GVT will be bigger than any Bl@@dy local civic department! Soon we would be like any other African country.
