Sexwale tackles BEE - and Robert Mugabe

It may be easy to tell an Audience of White People, maybe even some Expats, what they want to hear?
I think Tokyo has gone off on a bit of a limb here?
He is not in Government so it is easy to say something when you do not have to back it up.

There are so many mixed messages going out at the moment?
 
For example, he mentions 10 years, the gov has never put a time limit on BEE.
 
Personally I think he just spouts whatever **** suits him on that day. He fails to explain how he believes BEE doesn't marginalize people based on their race or how its uplifted the general poor black person who was suppresed during the apartheid era.

In the end he can say what ever he likes as he doesn't make policy so when it doesn't go as he said he can just shrug his shoulders, point to speaches such as this one and say "its not my fault".

Whether he believes anything that he says is up to debate, but he has gotten filthy rich thanks to BEE.

South Africa could have followed Germany's example and conducted Nuremberg trials in which all perpetrators of apartheid would be put on trial.

Errr... no Tokyo ... Don't rewrite history again, please. Our country had a negotiated settlement, where the incoming government agreed not to do so. The alternative would have cost the lives of many, and this country may still have been waiting for a full democracy.

No cut off has been stipulated despite calls for one from the DA, Solidarity, FF Plus and others. The argument put forward was that the country was under repression for 100's of years, so it should take that long to "put right". -- African logic again -- :D

What??? And the current programme to put control of the judiciary directly under the justice minister??? Replacement of white judges with black ones. etc etc..

BEE has served to conveniently enrich a few. Those few happen to be black, but otherwise it is no different to the classic old boys club.
 
Perhaps Tokyo should put his money where his mouth is and make himself available for the Presidential Race.

However Tokyo like Rhamaphosa et al are far too rich to earn a measly R1,5Million per year in the Presidential Seat.

I am really stumped who would be suitable for Presidency amongst The ANC?
The whole scenario shows that the leadership of The ANC is not quite what it should be? Bit silly considering there are so many members in The ANC.
I could imagine the Soccer Party or the Kiss Party having these issues, but certainly not The ANC.
Perhaps the people should cast their ballots indifferently in the next election if no suitable candidate is put forward.
This is nonsense that service delivery is being halted by this constant bickering about who is going to be The President.
One would think the position is made of Gold or it is the Second Coming?
It is just a CEO position to Administer the Affairs of State.

Mmm, and this differs from BEE how? :confused: They discriminate against certain sectors of the SA society based on skin color!
