So do you think the DDR4 is gonna make some type of dent in the current market in the light of the looming DX10 cards?

The DDR4 cards that where now released still run on DX9.......

Yip Awesome card, but don't know how feasable it would be with the DX10 cards so near.....

Thats true, i think it was a bit stupid to release cards like that with DX10 about a month or 2 away, they're gonna kill the latest cards, if you've seen the leaked specs of the Nvidia 8800 series ;)

Releasing X1950XTX wasn't such a bad idea infect it could work for ATI. Vista has not shipped and will only be available next year at which point ATI will have Radeon 2K ready. In that way they can get on the Vista release bandwagon and ride out Microsoft's Vista launch campaign championing their Designed for Vista logo where Radeon 2K is concerned. Pretty smart. :)

That may be true, they would have bragging rights, but i don't think many consumers would actually go for it, but rather save up and wait for the next gen :)

Maybe not sure. But the X1950XTX does have HDCP support, plays very well at HD 1080p and best of all is cheaper than anything else close to that performance...

Problem is GDDR4 is scarce...
