Telkom explains connectivity problems

Why am I not surprised?

If client service at the enduser stinks with Telkom not being able to repair or install within a reasonable time, why would they be able to manage high level networks properly?

Ok so this is slightly O.T. but in line with all things Telkom Hated related I used to work at a VNO in London with dealings with Telcos in every continent and in many many countries. However no company came close to Telkom in the dread my fellow support staff and I had when having to contact Telkom. Everyone would rather get a Chinese chappy who could not speak english or even the cleaner that we got several times with one far eastern Telco, then place a call to telkom.

I really wonder if you don't have to be clinically delusional to get a job at Telkom and if they actually do believe the lies they spew forth?

There you have it from the horse's ar,,,, er, mouth, run along now and dont be naughty and complain anymore.

Just shows what crap this company is about, was listening on the radio this morning and heard an ad about how all business should rely on Telkom for their infrastructure since its the only company that can provide everything and in doing so is the most reliable network blah blah yawn change frequency. Then the worst is I have to drive past their office in Randburg. Dream of some terrible things everytime I go past.:D

personally i give a flying %^$% what the problem was they must fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again! sigh. not that would help any...

They talk about the north Eastern region of the country, I'm in the Eastern Cape and my connection is still sucking piles since yesterday!

*Ahhhh just had my 24 hour reset, THAT never fails to happen

Meaning they have absolutely no idea what went wrong and will most likely re-occur in the near future.

On the upside, at least they've responded to a complaint instead of leaving everyone wondering what happened.
