Screw Alonso. That baby. Always complains if things don't go his way. Moaning abt FIA and other team is ok but to turn on your own team that helped you win a championship is ridiculous.

Tend to agree. I actually respected him for just getting the job done but ever since his "Zidane retired with more respect" I absolutely despise him. I wish Schummi kicks his butt and Raikkonen or Massa next year too!

Alonso need to focus on racing after he won a championship he thinks hes the man.
Shumi is so much more than just a driver Hes one of the drivers that can relate to the technical team exactly what the car is doing and suggestions on how to fix it. Thats why he has been so succesfull.
Alonso is dissing the team that took him to a championship win. Not good.

Give the kid a break, at 25 Alonso is doing better than Schumacher ever did at that age.
10 years ago, Schumacher was the same squeeling brat but he used to bash people out the way to win a race.
Like after Hill won the championship, he thought he was invisible, joined a week team and dissapeared after much complaining etc.
Undoubtably, Schumacher is a brilliant driver, but then anybody who can steer a F1 wins when driving for Ferrari, just look at all the past second drivers.
Like to see Schumacher in a RedBull for instance.

Agreed, Michael only won his first WC at age 25 (1994)....BUT then he did it again the next year (1995) and.....surprisingly, NOT in a Ferrari  Who is Benetton? He actually did it in 1994 despite being banned for two races
...with an under powered Ford Zetec V8 he took his first Driver's Championship, after the death of Ayrton Senna at Imola. It came after a season of several run-ins with the FIA and he was disqualified from the British and Belgian Grands Prix. Michael was also put under a two race ban during the Italian and Portuguese GP that year.
Like after Hill won the championship, he thought he was invisible, joined a week team and dissapeared after much complaining etc.
No Bud, get your facts right, Hill was dumped by his team
....With Damon Hill being dumped from Williams in 1997, Michael's main rival became former CART champion Jacques Villeneuve. ...
Also, do you know the state the Ferrari team was in when Michael joined them? Let me remind you ...
The 1996 season saw Michael move to Ferrari with a reported salary of $30 million He stated the need for a new challenge as his reasoning, it being to return Ferrari to the pinnacle of motorsport. Eddie Irvine moved from Jordan to become his team mate in the same year. The Ferrari F310 car had poor handling and it was a testament to Michael's ability that he managed to gain three wins. One of his wins, at the Spanish GP of that year was a wet race and is regarded as one of the best drives ever.
Interesting hey?
but then anybody who can steer a F1 wins when driving for Ferrari, just look at all the past second drivers.
Now you show me how many times Eddie Irvine or Ruebens took the championship driving the same World Championship winning car as Michael??
Like to see Schumacher in a RedBull for instance.
Why, what does he have to prove? He is happy, he is winning, so what?

Fiekus has pretty much summed it up, but here is my two cents worth.
While Alonso may be achieving more at his age than Schumi at the same, bear in mind that at the time, MS was one of the youngest drivers in F1. At that time they did not issue teenagers super licenses.
MS was never a "squealing brat" as you put it. Lest my memory is failing me I have yet to come across a report of him crying to the media about his team not supporting him enough or his team mate not helping him. Yes, there are a few episodes of his apparent transgressions on the track, but that is racing. even the great Ayrton Senna was prone to a few so-called undesirable manouevers, but I digress.
And what happened to Irvine taking the championship when Schumi broke his leg? If I remember correctly even with Schumi and Salo's help he couldn't do it.
Take nothing away from Fanny Adams, he has talent, but a true World Champion? I don't think so. He has some growing up to do. Throwing his toys out the cot and getting all emotional is not going to win him any friends, World Championships or respect.
One thing about MS (that many people don't like about him) is his lack of emotion at the best of times. THAT is what makes him so successful. He does not let emotion stand in the way of what he has wanted to achieve.

Excuse my ignorance here but with Alonso having 7 wins and Shumi 5 this season (correction) does that not mean that Alonso does not even need to race in Brazil, because if Shumi wins and gets 10 points, they draw but Alonso wins the championship on wins.
True or false ?

I actually went and did some gardening after the Ferrari chewed itself to pieces. Had no interest in watching Monkey Boy take an easy victory. Ferrari lost this Championship, Renault didn't win it.
They will look for any excuse to stop him and give the germ. his fairytale.
And how will they achieve this? Ban the Renaults from using a steering wheel? Possibly hijack their plane on the way to Brazil? There are no conspiracy theories, just good and bad luck. Alonso has had his share as has Schumi.

Sort of like all the Renault supporters when things didn't go your way?
Pity Fanny Adams could only win by Ferrari's atrition as opposed to actually beating MS in the race.
Hope MS whips his @ss in Brazil just to prove who actually is the better Champion.
Kudos to Renault for doing the job early in the season though. That is what will have won them the Championship.

Will probably get his little chipmunk, Massa, to drive him off the road. He's known for getting up to these types of shenanigans, including parking his car in the middle of the road so others can't set qualifying times.

Ah, so in other words the FIA penalised Alonso for doing nothing wrong then? I suppose MS getting penalised for the same offence in the same race meeting was justified though?
You're beginning to sound very much like the people you apparently despise and to be quite honest there is more Schumi bashing on the forums (this and others) pushing their views than there are of the Pro-Schumi brigade.

I am certainly not blind in my support of MS. If truth be told (and it has on many an occasion), I almost stopped supporting Ferrari in '97 due to the Jerez incident.
He has done many stupid things in his career, but he has an ability that very few people have and we were lucky as a team to have had him drive for us as I am sure that if he had chosen to drive for any other team he would have achieved all that he already has. Just not in the scarlet red of Ferrari.
There are many supporters who are blind in their support of him and it can be extremely frustrating and infuriating, but the same can be said of those who are blind in their hatred of him. I suppose each of these stereotypes bring out the worst in others.

Concepts commonly named Nutter
Obsessives
A Nutter (or nut) is a person obsessed with a particular item/sport/concept to the point of knowing a maddening amount about the said topic. For example: A Formula 1 fan, who knows all the drivers and their respective teams, starting positions and finishing places for all races for the last 20 years, could be referred to as a "Formula 1 Nutter".

Lol - not many out there... I think F1 will be a great place without him - he was grossly overpaid and oversupported. Part of the reason the sport is no longer much of a sport. Over the years we have seen so many political issues decide races, etc. etc. makes one wonder... and BTW, I don't solely blame MS for this - he was an excellent and talented driver, butI believe there was too much done for the sake of ratings... competition will be alot closer now IMO.

And there's no point in trying to justify your argument by talking about their dominance during 2001-2004, we're talking about current teams. The likes of Honda and Renault weren't around back then and just started off in 2003. This is what proper competition does, just accept the fact that Ferrari doesn't have an easy ride to victory anymore.

Yip if they do then I'll conceed that they were the best team this year. But a pet peeve of mine is when a fanboi decides halfway through a season that their team is the best without taking into account the progress of other teams. Kind of illogical isn't it? Dogmatic blind support really grates on my nerves, kind of like people saying "well everybody else is supporting Ferrari so maybe I should too". It's the same story of blind support with Manchester United.
I don't really support any team in particular, but I love the sport for what it is - to see each team fight for every point. Technical superiority and driver ability is what wins it for you in the end. Would be kind of boring if there was only one technical superior team winning all the time, wouldn't it?
Yeah it's gonna be a great race, can't wait either.

Did they have their own chassis, or did they just supply the engines to Williams/Benetton? So the question is who are you trying to fool?
You said that Ferrari is currently the best team and I called you on it, now please prove your claim. Is there anything extraordinary that they have accomplished in the past 2 years?
The team with the most fans is the most successful ('best') therefore Ferrari wins hands down!

Yip if they do then I'll conceed that they were the best team this year.
I am gonna hold you to that one. Ferrari and Michael Schumacher are going to win just hope that Alonso doesn't score any points.

To congratulate Alonso and Renault on their championship titles!! Alonso the youngest double world champ, wow!! What a race!! You couldn't ask for anything else hey!
Very sad to see Schumi go after today. The man's still got it. To come from 17th after his puncture to end up 4th?? Magic! Thanks Michael!
Congrats to Massa too. First Brazilian in 30 years to win his home GP!
What a fantastic end to the season!

Hmm so what do the Ferrari boys have to say now?? :p
Admittedly that was a brilliant effort by Schumacher after the puncture early on.

I didn't want to watch the post race interviews but Alonso surprised me. He could have gone on how good he was and how he is the youngest double champion but he paid tribute to Schumi which was great. He said "it's always better winning the championship when Schumi is still driving and I had the opportunity to do it twice". That says a lot of the respect they have for Schumi.
Nandooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He tends to be diplomatic in the post race interview. it is in his tabloid interviews that he's true colours come out.

First on the Massa issue - Senna won a Brazilian GP some 13 years ago.
On the MS final position - The top teams have enough of an advantage to always finish in the points. Did Ferrari not prepare an engine with top revs to try and take the constructors, hopefully the drivers and not blow at the same time. The engine only had to last a single race. They have enough experience from days gone by to produce such an engine.
Great win by Massa, albeit that he had the revs turned up so high the engine prob couldn't do another lap. Ditto M$ great drive.
World champ Alonso at McLaren. That is going to be fun. I do worry about Iceman next season. Great driver, ok car :D.
I'm glad to see M$ go. Racing will be fun again.
How about all those wuss drivers just letting M$ thru. The only one who tried to resist was Kimi.
