Just showing their true colors and another embarrassment for our country.
 
They are now going to steal right here in good 'ol SA...without the police catching them of course.

Lock the youth up for a good 5 years so he'll have a massive disadvantage for the rest of his life.

However, according to sources at the South African high commission in London, British authorities asked the South African government last year to send home the diplomat's elder son, aged 17, after police caught him and some of his friends allegedly holding up a youth at knifepoint and robbing him of his MP3 player.

These sources said that this year the diplomat's family fell foul of the law again when British police sought his second son, 15, who had been caught at school with a spray gun.

Sounds like a very troubled and dysfunctional family to me.

This time the diplomat flew back to South Africa with his son before police could question him.

There's NO excuse for this kind of behaviour from a South African diplomat. Pity the local Sunday Times didn't pick up on the story.:mad:

Some London high commission staff, however, seemed relieved at the diplomat's departure.

They alleged he had shown a dictatorial style in his dealings with staff, so much so that he had acquired the nickname "Mugabe".

Just heard a Diplomatic spokesman on the radio: "The SA diplomat left by mutual agreement...". + "The boy only committed a misdemeanour".

Robbery of a cellphone is a misdemeanour is it?
 
AFAIK even murder is a misdemeanor for a 15 year old

(dare I say except for america - where they put kids in jail - and to death?)
 
Why did they let him leave the country? they should have arrested him at the airport and put his ass in jail.

Minors, ie those under 18, are not longer executed in the states - it was deemed unconstitutional by the supreme court.
