When compared to countries with a strong Internet culture like Norway and Italy it becomes clear that South Africans still see the Internet as basically a business tool.
I've noticed a trend where people have a search engine as their home page, and instead of typing a domain name into the address bar, what they do is type a partial and even complete site name into the search engine's search terms field & hit enter, then they click on the first thing that pops up...
Yikes, does the same in my FirefoxI am not sure of internet explorer's behaviour but if I type absa and press enter into firefox's address bar it takes me to absa's website - but it looks it up on google first.
