Ok. At work ( u all know where that is ) we got this “surf control” and I cant browse the things I want to. I used letmeby.com before ( anything with proxy in its address gets blocked) but now that’s been banned as well. I used hopster to use msn and the likes on the lan but u need to register it and it times out all the time ( plus it didn’t solve my browsing issue) can anyone help me get past our proxy. :(

Howz about you do your work dammit :p :p !
Try :
http://www.the-cloak.com/login.html
or any of the others listed here: http://www.thefreecountry.com/security/anonymous.shtml : that don't contain the word "proxy".

for msn/icq/aol/yahoo/jabber/gtalk use, try www.meebo.com
or www2.meebo.com
or www3.meebo.com
(you get the idea)
for browsing, i find
http://www.workfriendly.net/
to work nicely (assuming the url isnt blocked...has a handy "boss key" text which is amusing to browse over)
if you got a machine at home, you can install cgi-proxy on it yourself http://www.jmarshall.com/tools/cgiproxy/

Try this: Torpark http://torpark.nfshost.com/
Standalone Firefox, with The Onion Router. Basically anonymous*, untraceable* browsing that you dont even have to install on your machine, you can run it off a USB stick. It uses port 80, so if you can browse normally you can use it.
* NB, nothing is completely anonymous, or untraceable. And it is slow.. but if you have been using anonymous proxies you will be used to that by now.

Can also try
http://www.secure-tunnel.com
I'm using that, but it's not 100% free [try the freebar]. Works pretty well with Virgin for some reason.
