Bhisho plans clampdown on school cellphones

lol - good luck to them if they intend on even ATTEMPTING banning cellphones at my school.. it'd cause more fights and cases of vandalism than it would solve.

Well, this is true government logic. Hmm, lets see: "People take videos of our children moering each other in school. Let's ban cell phones." Dear Mr. Idiot who thought of this, may I suggest an alternative view: "How about we stop the kids moering each other at school. And since there are videos of them moering each other we have proof so we can suspend the bastards that do the fighting!"

Just my 2c.

Yeah! Maybe 2c!!:D

Seriously - Your logic is sound - but, in order to put an immidiate stop to he grotesque filming of these moerings, ban the phones whilst we fix the moering problem.

Maybe?

ROFL.

True, and as for the kids taking porn pics I will admit that is sick. But how is that different for the kid in our class (1990s) that brought his dad's digital cam to school one day and left it in the girls locker room? ;) Banning phones will not stop the underlying problem. Once again gov is looking to cure the symptom not the cause.

How is it different? How many kids lugged in their dads incredibly expensive camera in to the school back in the 90's?

Now compare that number with the number of kids that have cellphones with cameras.

Very good point. But keep in mind, the kid that wants to take pictures of girls will find a way...

Look, I am not for or against this. I am happy to be out of school, but I really find it funny they way gov is handling this situation...
