More recently, former members Judy Wood and Morgan Reynolds resigned from the association on August 23, 2006 criticizing both Prof. Jones and the Journal for 9/11 Studies.

Critics also noted that of the 139,000 members of the American Society of Civil Engineers, not one was a member of the Scholars for 9/11 Truth; they now have just one American Society of Civil Engineers member, Joseph M.
