Factions or Nightfall

I want to start playing GW online asap, I can't find Nightfall at any local gaming outlets , should I just get Factions and start off playing Factions or should I wait and purchase Nightfall and start playing that instead? Is Nightfall a completely independant game or an expansion of Factions? If I start with Factions now will there be servers left to play Factions on? seeing that everyone is probably playing Nightfall now. Please advise...

There are 3 "Chapters" in Guild Wars

Prophecies
Factions
NightFall

The First Chapter is pretty good, it has a longer learning curve then factions, but you dont need all the chapters to play the game.

As Nightfall only officially comes out on the 27Oct, you can only pre-order it in SA (http://www.take2.co.za/product.php?id=2051890) AFAIK.

The biggest disadvantage of jumping in at Chapter 3 is that you cant go to previous chapters if you dont own them, forinstance, the best place to get armour is in Chapter 1 - Droks Forge, but if you dont own that chapter, then you cant go there.

So, i reccomend, cost wise, wait till nightfall comes out, get it, then wait till the others drop in price and get those, All the chapters are a must have. Also, you only have 4 character slots if you take only one chapter. an extra char slot is going at about R75, so if you get the other 2 chapters, you get 2 extra slots per chapter, so total will be 8, well worth it.
