Video will never go through MTN. Think of DVB-H as a mini digital M-NET decoder built into the phone. Your phone talks to a MTN tower for voice & data while listening to a seperate Multichoice tower for DVB-H. The two communications have nothing to do with each other. What will the cost be for streaming video on MTN be? if VoIP is R25.00 per MB
Flat monthly fee for DVB-H access, irrespective of what happens on the GSM/3G side. How will they charge for DVB-H which is not streaming but broadcast? (all the subscribers must chip in?)
Yep I assume so, two seperate line items on your invoice (if MTN re-bill for DVB-H service on behalf of Multichoice). Then a DVB-H sub with Multichoice incl a channel package of some sort. Now is there also a debit from your data bundle to get the 'stream' to your phone?
