Unbuntu game → windows...

I've unistalled ubuntu (reinstall when i upgrade my hdd) and would really like to play same gnome game on windows. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction for this...

I kinda remember reading somewhere that there is a proggie that will allow you to use linux apps on windows.. perhaps that is my answer..

anyone got any suggestions...

That proggie is probably cygwin, and it's huge (you download and run an installer, which downloads and installs hundreds of megabytes of packages), plus you probably have compile a lot of Gnome itself. You'll need a lot of free time.

If the game didn't do fancy 3D graphics, it might be easier to try installing Ubuntu on an emulator (try qemu + the Windows acceleration driver?), and play it from the emulator.

I once had a windows version. Just looked a bit different but was still nice to play.

ive been playing a copy of it (it works in a web browser). http://2tap.com/taptrap/ the guy says it uses the same rules as same gnome. cant get above 3500 tho :mad:

I've yet to find any that are equal or as good as the ubuntu one...
