Does anybody know how the Vrewards thing works?
ATM I'm using about R100-R250 pm (almost exlcusively for data) on a prepaid sim, but every time I load more credit and check, it still says I have 0 points.

I think you only receive points for voice calls. The points are paid back to you in airtime at the end of the month.

And their myvzone thing isn't working as well. Was supposed to be out weeks ago. I also use hundreds of Rands a month for data but have not got 1 cent back. I am thinking of going with iBurst!

Can anyone confirm whether we get VRewards for data? A lot of people have said you only get them for voice calls.

Confirmed (I just spoke to them) .... your vrewards are based on how much you spend, whether it be data/voice/sms or whatever.

You'll prabably find that the myVzone will be up and running when the Vrewards kicks in....

Ok cool so we should actually get some decent rewards for data. Even if it doesn't show up now it doesn't really matter as long as it is being accumulated in the background.

I assumed it was only for voice calls:
I use allot of data and do not make voice calls/sms. But my points stayed on 0. I assumed it was only for voice as I have also heard other people say the same thing. my bad

Sorry, didn't see there was already a Vrewards thread.
I sure hope VM gets their rewards system up and going and upgrades their systems (concurrent users, etc)

I got R130 so it looks like they have been keeping track of rewards from two months ago as well. Let's hope that their MyVZone will be fully operational soon!

V-rewards is working. i got v-warded by R30 bucks on Saturday. Because i'm prepaid, the R30 was transfered to my account.
When you spend R200 or more in a month you get R30 v-ward (irrespective of weather you use data or calls).

I've been buying R120 at a time, but I haven't received any Vrewards - is R120/month too little to count????

You dont get VRewards for buying airtime. You only get VRewards for using that airtime.

Does that include using airtime for data services ? Am I entitled to VRewards ?

using airtime includes data/sms/voice calls....... anything that uses up the R's that you spent.

Yes, I accept that - I only BUY more airtime once I have USED up the previous recharge. My question remains - is there a minimum amount you have to have bought/used in order to get Vrewarded because after buying/using close to R240 I have not received anything...

No minimum divv, not afaik anyhow. I buy in my airtime in R50's and I got VRewards…Seems like they are taking a group of users on a day and are giving them their rewards manually as different days of 'reward-giving’ has been reported by forum members. Their automatic system is not working yet…

The Vrewards balance system is not working today. I wonder if they're fixing it (finally).
