MikroTIK and Sector Antenna

Does anyone have any experiance with the TOTAL distance and throughput using a Sector Antenna (17dBi) and a 30dBi at the client end??
Secor is connected to an SR5 and client has a MT R52.
I have worked the link budget - but talking to all and sundry they tell me 20Km is going to pretty much be the max??

Any ideas??

It should definately work but you havent said anything about how much throughput you actually need.

Also how many clients on that sectoral ?

Down around 1.5 - 3Mbps will be OK... it's a telematry system

We utilise a similiar setup for one of our backbone links, across 23 odd kms, and no problems...

Throughput

What sort distance - as a maximum - can I expect from links like this??
"my" link budget tells me I can do 60Km (high site >1600m and users ± 600M).
All I need is about 1Mbps through it??
sorry for all the dumb questions!

to keep it on the safe side about 22km above that and ur bound to run into problems
