Can anybody tell me why I got attacked 2 times since i join this forum? The IP address that attacked me is 84.222.162.130 can anybody recognize this IP address and let me know so that I can track his a*ss and blast it off.

I really hope the attacker is not linked to this forum, because that will be scary. :confused:

Lebambi, are you sure it wasnt that german p0rn you where downloading?

Reality Fact >> Bots scan IP ranges often, esp in SA because we have:
1. Dumb telecoms providers who supply security flawed hardware.
2. Dumb users who think that their IP is an invisible unique number that nobody else should know of, remember your in telkom land, it gets pooled and changed every 24 hours.
3. Dumb users who think that they can actually track down people who have scanned them, when in reality, most of our police force doesnt know what a computer is, let alone the finer dynamics of the internet.

Oh I know, why dont you get out your DOS attack application and nail that Italian to the wall... I heard his IP was 127.0.0.1

Whoa! You really out the loop Brad heheh... speaking for our local lads only of course but they certainly DO know what a computer is and make very good use of them.

LOL, I suspect that even the Italian Maffia would provide a better telecoms service than Telkodemonopolies...

@Lebambi, if you have a firewall installed, and you were looking at the logs, then blocked "attacks" are completely normal - we all live with them every second of every day, it's the attacks that get past a firewall that you need to be seriously worried about and perhaps use a better firewall, having said all that, MyADSL|MyBroadband is not the source of and not in any way related to the double event that you briefly described.

Ok - you have no idea how reassuring that statement is! As per usual the paranoia rears its head and I tend to think I'm the only one heheh.. thnx for that IC.

this is like dejavu.
I read this same thing on a hacker forum.
This guy was kicked of the forum and banned from it(some Swedish forum) and all he said was that he got a virus from the forum.
The admins assured him that no virus is on there servers...etc.
So he argued with them that a hacker could of get in.well they argued and he got banned.
So he went to another forum to ask a hacker to hack the forum just to show them,that they can be hacked..
This happened not to long ago,
Are you not that guy
