Uncapped - R 1190

Hi,

We have discounted all new signups on the uncapped express products to R 1190 per month ex.

This is one of our December Specials. We have also introduced our normal Usage based accounts at R 199 with top ups at R 70. We are currently in Discussion with Neotel to launch a 3GB adsl service for R 159 and unshaped at R 249. Will update informantion as soon as our deals come through.

If any of you have idea's on products as well as how we can improve our service and offer better solutions etc, please email [email protected] all people who enter an idea will go into our lucky draw to win 2 60GB Video IPODs.
 
Hiya what speed is the uncapped account and how many concurrent connections do you allow?

R1190 + 14% VAT is about R1356.60 What makes it so amazing? Thats the price most ISP's charge.

And do you really believe any isp in SA would offer concurrent sessions on a uncapped discount account? :confused:
 
did nobody else notice the bit about being in discussions with neotel?

I wonder what their involvement would be - similiar to the way IS offers ADSL?

That's where they ... throttle ... you after you've exceeded your usage quota for a number of days, right? I can't believe IS have the balls to call this uncapped. :mad:
 
Our accounts do not throttle down like the Normal accounts, and if you look around, we are the cheapest for uncapped.
 
my ods is fine.

512k xpress, uncapped + unshape

i get

55KBps strait from giganews
good torrents go at 50-60kbps
direct downloads http/ftp 50Kbps
online gaming also nice speeds
hec even video streaming is STREAMING and not slide shows

havn't experianced any throttle of anykind or downscaling :)

and besides sofar good and fast service, allready recommended one of
my friends over to ods from stinktek...

mine is R1200 Ex vat.

but xmas special is R1190

heres an idea:

hmmm R100ex vat would be even awesome, even greater
if i can get that too even if being one month late :)

Well now that OpenWeb have brought out their R999 512K Uncapped accounts...it looks like OpenWeb are the cheapest.

Can ODS beat that WickedWeasel?

Is the unshaped part simmilar to SAIX unshapped? I need it for gaming overseas
 
hmmm lets see how long open web keeps that one up

12 months for R999 pm inc vat...

and 10 free uncapped accounts all ready given away

sounds like a desperate bunch to me ;)
 
The only thing I have against your crusade Wickedweasel is that you talk ex vat. Salespeople who talk ex vat went out along with dinosaurs. Dont confuse people and make it sound more attractive than it really is. We want to know how much it is that we have to take from our pockets. We dont want to do math. And Im not the first person to raise this with you. At the end of the day you just draw annimosity from the consumers on here who, out of spite, wont touch your isp with ol' Zuma's piel. Just a friendly word of advice. I dont mean this all in a bad way. Keep the crusade for adsl going. Our country needs you :)
