Do you guys in Cape Town still get them frequently? We just had one now and apparently sometimes during the night we get them often. What is going on :(

Yeah, had one yesterday, and two days before that.

Luckily I'm mostly at work when the power's off, but I worry about things like my fridge. And I hate, HATE having to reset all my digital/electronic clocks every second day.

I get frequently cut at about 8am.... doesnt bother me cos im either at work or still sleeping and when i do eventually wake up the power is usually back on.

Ssshh! We don't call them that. Use the euphemistic equivalent of "loadshedding". Powercuts sound like they're doing it on purpose! :D

we had one yesterday, first time in quite a while. Hubby's work often gets loadshedding between 11am-2pm roundabout
