Which Pre-Primary school decides on the Prices of phones on Packages?

This is something I dont understand. The way the prices of the phones are worked out.

Look at this:

SE P990i - Cash R5500 (Cacell)
Express Message = R4889
Procall 120 = R999

SE W950i - Cash R5900 (Cacell)
Express Message = R4829
Procall 120 = R499

Nokia 8800 Sirocco - Cash R8900 (Cacell)
Express Message = R4799
Procall 120 = R1159

Nokia N80 - Cash R4300 (Cacell)
Express Message = R4389
Procall 1200 = FREE

i-Mate K-Jam - Cash R5900 (Cacell)
Express Message = R5409
Procall 120 = FREE

i-Mate PDA2K (Discontinued Model) - Cash R6100 (Cacell)
Express Message = R6459
Procall 120 = R199

Please someone explain this to me.
 
Simple...
have a look at the subscription you're paying versus the price of buying the phone outright, I had the same problem and after a very lenthy call to vodacom, they explained it to me. It makes sense.
 
Well i think thats wrong, according to the cost prices.
Most packages are cost price dependant. Retail prices fluctuates to whatever the seller wants it to be.

Certain handsets will have added suppor to push stock eg with that Imate, its basic bussiness management.
 
Yeah, I know exactly what you're saying and those are the exact issues I borught up, but did you know that if you call their upgrade line, they can actually do a Check on what your usage is, and if it is High enough, you won't have to pay in even a cent towards your new Handset.

I got my 9300 FREE when it was in the Region of R1000 because of my usage on my business contract.
