Aaaaargh! After enjoying my HSDPA card (MTN E620) for months, tonight there is no 3G signal in Centurion (near the highway). Only EDGE and it is SLOOOOOOOW!

I was using it with a Virgin SIM this week, which is usually on EDGE, but I've never had this problem before. I've gone to the card setup and made sure that I'm using the MTN profile. I have shut the lap top down completely several times and left it for a while. I've even set the Network Type to "3G only", but after the card reboots there is no signal at all!

Anyone else having this problem?

There was a problem on Saturday, are you up and running again?

The weirdest thing happened to me the other night- im hitting a fair 330 kbp/s with my e620, then all of a sudden the dreaded blue light hits and im stuck with 18 kbp/s if im lucky. i dont stand for that so i disconnect, remove the card then reconnect and the blooming thing starts flying again! Swak!

Guess what? Just after posting it was all fine, I looked down to see the BLUE LIGHT flashing at me!

Luckily for it, it switched back to green when it saw I had noticed... Cunning little bugger....
