"Gateworld reports that an exclusive, third Stargate series is in the works: 'The new series is in the concept phase, and is being actively worked on by the Vancouver creatives behind Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. No concept for the show has yet been revealed.' Gateworld also reports despite the cancellation of SG-1, the series is likely for a 2007 debut. I wonder if the direct-to-dvd movies will any influence on the new series, and what the concept behind the show will be?"

They stopped this series because it was getting tired. I have to agree. They would have to do some radical revamping for the networks to buy it again.
 
SG 1 is one of the most popular series of all times. 10 seasons plus a spin off series is nothing to laugh about.

I have to admit if your only exposure to SG has been through satellite or normal TV episodes... well you have missed almost everything. When you get the series and watch the episodes one after another, only then do you get the most out of it.

I cant wait until they release it in affordable DVD sets. Until then I will continue using conventional means to watch the series ;)
