hey guys,

need some help please.

Are these data cards locked or can i use another sim?

would like to get me a virgin sim.

can anyone maybe explain how i will go about to get the virgin card working in the datacard and can i use the vodacom dash to connect to virgin?

You need a 128k SIM. Set modem initialisation string to
at+cgdcont=1,"ip","vdata","",0,0,
Some users report that it is sufficient to set the APN to VDATA, but I found I needed this initialisation (under control panel, modems, advanced settings)
 
thanx johnit, will give it a try, gonna get me a virgin card tomorrow
