Did IS International just drop again?

I've got a Datapro account and my international has been down since last week Friday :(
 
Yes - I don't have international either..... Openweb uncapped
 
My traffic graphs don't show anything on my side. I got 3.2GBs from international sources last night. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. It just didn't affect me in Cape Town.
 
There's been quite a few international cable breaks the last few days, links between New York and Hong Kong, which is still ongoing. This of course will affect international traffic.
This is on the SAIX / Telkom network, but IS will be affected too AFAIK.

Thats been ongoing since Wednesday morning.
 
AFAIK the asia cable breaks should only affect sites hosted there. The network outage from saix said outage from new york to asia (hong kong?) not sa to new york.

Anyhow my international is flapping up and down at the moment for the last hour or so (thats when i first checked it anyway)

only had ADSL since Okt/Nov, is this IS problem only a holiday problem or what? With all the special ADSL deals around x-mas time? :confused:
 
Its normal. Pray for sunny weather every morning but not too sunny that it affects the sats. the same way clouds do.
 
No idea hay. Maybe its volumes, maybe they throttling, maybe its got to do with 2007 being soo close like the y2k paranoia.
 
to much pron surfin... makes the satelite smudgy...
