View Full Version : Cell-C Porting & 14302 Account Problems ?

Hi,

I was ment to port to Cell-C from Vodacom on 30th Nov 2006, but it started working on the 10th of December. To date I am unable to get a account balance on 14302, nor with a SMS to 14302, the online account shows no free minutes nor itemized billing. Trying to login to C-Juice says this service is for Cell-C customers only.

I have had a case number since 14th December 2006, and no one at Cell C can reslove the problem. GPRS often stops working, and I am now staring to get more missed calls.

Not great phoning 14302 and told you are not a customer. Have had nothing posted to me either from Cell-C.

Can I get out of this contract considering the advertised services do not work?

Hi,

I found the problem: Phones set on manual and connected to Vodacom tower as default for 082 number does not allow 14302 to work. I reverted the phone back to Cell-C tower and it works, go back to Vodacom and it does not.

I contacted Cell-C and they are now aware of the problem. I presume this is only a problem with ported numbers.

You could in addition be experiencing the "age old" problem where balances are not available during the first week of the month during their "billing runs"

Hi,

I was told that by Cell-C but the problem contined after the run was complete. Other ported customers are now having the same problem.
All works as long as I only use Cell-C towers, which is a pity a signal strength in my Area is not good.
