This memory stick will give my SE P990i double the storage capacity of the Nokia N91. Scary. My phone will become a mp3 jukebox!

mmm... sounds good! Let's hope the price sounds good too ;)

Sorry for that big message, just protecting myself. I just searched on Bidorbuy for Memory Stick Duo and chose the cheapest 2GB one. There are also 4Gb cards for sale (around R850)

Got one in Ireland for R600, Sandisk, I reckon R400 is a bit low, although not impossible given how computer parts drop in value over relatively short periods of time

I also bought a 2gb one from BidorBuy for R450 (new). Not the same seller as advertised here, but haven't had any problems with it. Definitely not the fake one.

I got a 2Gb for R750 (Feb '06) but when shopping around I saw Incredible Connection had them R1400 so thats where I got my price from, I doubt Sony can sell the 8Gb for over R2000.
We'll wait and see!:D

how do you know? If you paid R450 for a 2GB High Speed it IS fake. Look here, 2GB high speed sells for USD200 =R1500 in the USA, there is no way in hell that you're going to get it for less than a third of that price. http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...tickMedia_MemoryStickProDuomedia&Dept=cameras

For your info here is an article that explains the method of identifying fakes.
