Hi There,

Just to let all you Rappelz players know that you are welcome to join the South African guild, draxulza on the Lydian server.

For those of you that havent heard of Rappelz yet:
Rappelz is a free MMORPG published by Gala-Net, the distributors of Flyff and Space Cowboy Online. It is based in a fantasy world dominated by three races of separate alignments: The Deva, guardians of light, the Asura, servants of the dark, and the Gaia, the protectors of nature. The game can be compared to games such as Lineage II

This game is really awesome, and for me coming from a Guildwars perspective, the whole MMORPG concept really rocks!

The download is quite big (1.6GB), but I can burn copies for intersted parties in the Pretoria area.

Have you been playing Rappelz long?

Reports Im getting is its a little tiresome after a while... personal taste though...
 
Sounds like little fun but where is the server based? This wireless things tends to act up when trying to play online sometimes especially when its an american server!

Sounds interesting - And if the sys reqs. are correct I may be able to play it on this dinosaur, too. :)
 
This does look rather intersting, but the download size is a bit much, especially since I don't knwo if it's going to be a long term cap investment.. :(

Stupid Telkom, there is plenty online legal content available.. :(
 
The guys over at PCF have a guild. Quite a number of playas in the guild.
Just whisper PsiPyro in the game and ask him to add you.
 
Is there anywhere we can download locally..would save a bit downloading with a local account?

No that I have searched much so gonna look now.

I have the PCFormat June edition :) saw rappelz on there.

Also Installed FireFox for the first time while looking through other PCFormat. Man its way better than IE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I seem to be having issues with the game. Ive downloaded but when I start the game is looks like it wants to patch or something, and them times out. I cant get beyond that point :( Is there a way to download the patch directly?
 
Mine went through fine yesterday. It took a while as it is a huge patch. Maybe keep trying :/

btw I have reached near the end of advanced training :D will try find the SA guild on the other server once I am used to the game
 
Hi all.

Sounds great. Can someone please post a direct link to the download as I am unable to get to the download as most of the sites gets blocked as "games" sites. Or pm me I can use flashget to download the file.
