I find it interesting that there is plenty of mention re the Xbox and the Wii yet no mention of the PS3!! Am I to assume that there are no Sony fanboys on Myadsl?!!?!!!!? or is it a reflection of more significant things, such as the fact that Sony have completely fcuked the cat on ths one?

I think its because it hasn`t been released in SA yet

Hehe, neither has the Wii, and in all honesty I was gonna get a PS3 before my Wii, but after reading all the reviews and watching vid's on youtube (and checking my bank balance) I decided on the Wii instead.

I'm 90% sure I'll get a PS3 when Lair/Heavenly Sword/Assassins Creed are released and when the price drops.

But in terms of SA, I don't think its worth importing a PS3 right now. The games just aren't worth the R7000+ price tag

 where did you hear that??

Damn

I think he's talking about the cost of importing the ps3 itself.

Supes : I will say I'm looking forward to Assassins Creed, on my 360, apparently its gonna have better AI than the PS3.

Yeah, was talking about importing, and I heard the AI thing too. You never know, between now and March Microsoft might do something that'll convince me to go the Wii60 route. The whole IPTV thing might help its case, but with SA's "broadband" I don't know how viable it'll be.

Supes,

Telkoms successfully trialled IPTV using a QoS enabled router on a 4 MBps line. They also claim to have successfully tested it with the 360 as well.

Not that I doubt you doobs, but since when does Telkom claiming to have achieved something really count? :p
