anyone know if the SE V600i supports 128k sim cards?

It should, it supports 64k sims.

I think that you may have problems with a 128K. I'll test today and let you know for sure.

Which SP supports 124k sims?

Just checked a Virgin Mobile SA SIM in a SE V600i and all you'll get is the "Insert SIM" error message!

This is a hardware issue with the SE V600i I'm sorry to say!

No one supports 124K but Virgin Mobile issue 128K SIM's!

You either do not have a 128K SIM pack (VM 64K SIM cards work fine) or you have one of few SE V600i that accept 128K SIM's!

thats the same problem i have. i stick a 128k Virgin SIM in my phone and i just get insert sim error. anyone know how to fix this?

In that case I am lucky cause the sim is a virgin 128k - it was swopped out for the 64k sim I got earlier last year.
