The Burning Crusade is 4 CDs in total, about 2.4Gb.

The upload seems to be going fairly slowly.

4 cd's. sounds big. I tried to download the full EU version once. Because axxess reset IP every 8 hours(dont know if they still do it, i moved to imaginet), i could never get the files downloaded. Ended up nailing my cap so bad, my adsl was kaput for last week of the month. Managed to find a copy, but couldnt play, so I got a new account with imaginet.

I think I'll wait for btgames. They said Wednesday. It better be ready on Wednesday. my darned guild is already in Outland and im stuck in Ironforge listening to low levels begging for gold.

I'd suggest rather using:

This link has been tried and tested and people are currently playing BC with these game files.

The other link should also work, just use a FTP client instead of good ole IE if you're having problems.

Both the ftp://ftp.uunet.co.za/pub/incoming/guardians/ as well as http://ttoa.no-ip.org/wow/BC-US-CDs/ is basically the same files - so you could get some of the files from the one and the rest from the other - so no need to redownload in despair if something goes wrong.

HELP! i downloaded all ur stuff, how does it work!!!, all it says when i open the files is to select a program from the list! what program, thanks in advance, im not a technical genius :confused:

The files you're sitting with are .iso files, which are images of the original CDs.

You need a program like Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or similar to 'mount' these images - which in plain english means it will appear as if you have put the CD in your drive.

Once it asks for CD2, you'd for eg: Rightclick Daemon Tools' Tray icon, click the top option to mount, then select your 'virtual cd-drive' and then browse to the location where you extracted all the .iso files, and select cd2.

Give it a couple of second and then click OK that you have inserted CD2.

You can try search on http://www.softpedia.com for a CD/DVD mounting application such as Daemon Tools.

u need a program like nero to either burn each disc on a cd or load a virtual drive and run the files that way...if u have cd writing skills I think that might be the better option for you...

Nope. By the look of it that is the first part of the 5 parts downloaded using torrents. Mine all worked first time.

You could try Winrar's repair feature, but that's probably just hit and miss. My suggestion would be to download it again and use a tool like Peer Guardian to prevent peers from providing you with corrupt data. It happens occasionally.

Hello, I am having problems because when i extract the ISO files they wont appear in the folder i put them in. Except the fourth disc.

Also i am having same problem as belfast except all i got was that there was a error in the file.

i think there is nothing wrong with the actual disk2 zip file. i believe the problem is that the BCdisk2.r10 file is corrupt. i think it is this file becuase it seems preatty obvious all the files with BCdisk1 mk the disk1 file run. All the files with BCdisk2 name make the disk2 run and so on. And also knowing that the problem happens when the zip is extracting and doing somthing with the .r10 file of disk 2. It must be the BCdisk2.r10 file. So whoever is hosting it needs to fix it or somthing.

i have uhh something called R files it says bcDisc1.r00 and it says its a R00 file and the next one says its a bcdisc1 and a R01 file what are these and why wont daemon tools pick them up?? and the image i try to mount is a RAR file but it isnt being picked up.... should i download winrar or something?

You still need to buy the expansion, downloading the software is not going to help you as you need a legit key to activate your WoW BC account.

Hey peepz...

First of all: The only place I was able to actually find the files to download is: Pirate Bay (http://thepiratebay.org/search.php?q=TBC+enus&games=on)

Second of all: I don't have the adsl cap available to actually download these files... I have the latest WoW version BUT I just spent 900 megs of my 2 gig cap downloading the patches.

Third of all: Can anyone in Cape Town mail me a DVD with these files on it? [I will repay you with a DVD and anything else you demand (as well as any fees) as I cannot possibly download all these files because it would take me 2 months of cap to do it].

It would be really appreciated
