Cellphone mast 'only installed at Walmer clinic after EIA'

I don't believe all the conspiracy theories about cell masts but shouldn't neighbouring properties be consulted before any major construction project?

As long as their are no life support systems close
by, as they normally tell you please switch off your
cellphones when you enter the ICU section, cell phones
transmit about 2watts and the cell mast I am sure
are pushing 40 watts thru the building.

Someone please switch that giant cellphone off ;)
it would be interesting to test the emi from the cell mast.

The tower is 25 m high and the main beam points at an angle nearly equal to the horizon. I have close contact to people measuring the signal strengths and they are orders of magnitude below guidelines for "safe" exposure.
It is NOWHERE near 40W.

While caution is necessary yes, paranoia like linking a bad crop to the nearby signal is not.
