I have a 80GB WD digital that has been formatted and REALLY REALLY REALLY need someone with the skills and software to help me recover the data.

I'lol even drive to joburg if someone can help me cause im in a bad bind.

So, how bad is it? Oh, and I trust (hopelikehell) you know to pull that drive from any computer that may change the drive state? Also: what filesystem, function and data are you looking for? And what have you done SINCE it got formatted?

You will need another hard drive to do this with.

Install Windows on another drive or plug the drive into PC.

Install File Scavenger or some other recovery tool on this drive (NOT your formatted drive)

use the tool to recover the files onto your drive.

Do NOT install anything on the drive you want to recover data FROM.

If you're in the cape and wanting to come to the strand, I'll do you the fav and recover it for you... Just don't use the drive (remove it from the system) untill you or someone else attempted the recovery...

I'm busy recovering 1TB RAID5 currently after a RAID controller went haywire and currupted the file system... Not fun.

Use GetDataBack for NTFS. I've recovered 380GB's of data off of a RAID 5 set using it.

If you in CT and closer to Table View I'll do it for you.

/Edit, I see you're in Pretoria:(
