'Give us fair phone charges'

More than 200 people, "extremely concerned" about the telecommunications industry, have each contributed a few hundred rand towards an advertising campaign voicing their displeasure.

The Telecommunications Action Group (TAG) has placed a full-page advertisement in the most recent issue of the Mail and Guardian to highlight what it claims is government and industry watchdog mismanagement of the sector. The advert cost it about R45 000.
