What rubbish is this !

Telkom have now introduced an hourly mail quota for their SMTP server ...

I've sent out about 200 emails and this is over the limit ... unbelievable !

Anyone know what exactly the limit is ?

Well nobody likes spam (Even Telkom) so if it's real emails distend to customers that requested it, have a look at running your own SMTP server. We had a similar problem when sending out our month end invoices and now run the following at our office in Cape Town:

Plus there is a way to enable your XP box to run it's own SMTP server if you have installed IIS.

If it is SPAM then I hope your PC has a HD crash and you have no backup!

Be careful with this too. Dynamic IP ranges are marked as SPAM problems with certain organisations such as SORBS. This will result in email being blocked at companies that use products like MessageLabs.
