Copied from MTN :

MTNdataFAST calls are charged at normal voice tariffs (Peak and Off-Peak), according to your contract, with the exception of SMS only, billed at CSD tariffs.

Inclusive minutes and carry-over minutes are depleted first (with the exception of premium-rated calls), after which you will be charged the applicable voice tariff.

I have been using this number to connect
0831237873

PLS confirm that my free minutes will be used FIRST. using above number.

I do, but I loose my free bundled minutes every month, thus I want to use the free minutes to make the data calls

your free minutes and free sms' are carried over but if you have seperate bundles you they dont get carried over. eg. data bundles and sms bundles dont get carried over but if you are on a MyCall100 contract you get 85 off peak, 15 peak and 15 sms' every month which do get carried over.

Yes CSD does utilize your free minutes first... Good idea to use that to clock up your un-used minutes.

that is a very quiet "I Agree" seems like MTN don't want us to use it. they like us to waste our free airtime. :D

Phone MTN and ask them to enable HSCSD, not sure if the data card supports it though.
