We have placed up a network in our apartment block and are sharing internet cap between a few oaks. Now we are each paying equal share to the cap, but some are students and I know they are using more then there share, how can I monitor how much each are using and cut them off after they have reached there allowed amount? I am in the position to place a server between the router and the lan. What software will be best and cheapest to use or free?
