FIREFOX Mobile ?

For those of you with smartphones & ppc's, maybe you've wondered about when Mozilla will make a version of Firefox for your WindowsMobile device.

Well, apparently they've been working on it. It's called MiniMo, and you can get a beta of it here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/

It works pretty well, much more functional than IE for WM, though you can see it will benefit from some further refinement .
 
Just outa curiosity, can opera be used in a Mobile windows phone? (maybe its a silly question, but i dont know)

Minimo has been out for sometime already, i remember looking at it in 2005. I suppose beta software these days can last a long time....
 
You certainly can use opera. They make a browser specifically for WM devices. It is probably the preferred browser for power users.

I have been using operamini for like a year on my K750 and it works quite well despite the SE's small screen.
 
opera mini comes standard on nokia s60 phones.....works pretty well.....il try out the firefox one though :)
 
opera mini is quite good for a free browser, but the full opera browser is the real deal. unfortunately it is not free. The main benefit (for me) is the tabbed browsing that comes with the full one. MiniMo on the other hand is free, and comes with tabbed browsing. But it only available for windows mobile devices.
 
o no.....only for windows mobile devices.....missed that....:p
