geforce 7900 gt 256mb std vs geforce 7950 gt 512mb std

dude its like asking which car goes faster the 1.6! or the more expensive 1.8!

hold on until may for the new dx10 cards

should be around the same amount
 
Only if you plan on using dx10 OSes, that is. :p

Seriously though, it would be at least a year before the dx10 market gets properly underway, and a year is a long time to wait.
 
ya but would you rather spend 2.5k on old technology or 2.5k on new technology which will eventually become a standard?
