WebAfrica Local Only Account Dead

Hi All
Seems like my 30 GB Local Only account from WebAfrica just died. :mad: I can still connect with my other SAIX based account just fine. Any Ideas? Maybe IS problems? :confused:

My WA local only 30 gig account seems to be working perfectly...

The only thing which is weird is that I can use international b/w? I could've kept that to myself, however if everyone has international b/w on a local account, it could cost WA a lost of extra money......
 
All is fine again. Route Sentry seems to have been the problem. :mad:

you will always have interational access, just most of the time its like 0.01kb per second so useless.

IS accounts, unlike SAIX accounts are resold by the ISP and then handled by IS still. Extra usage or internationa usage like this on the local account will cost the ISP nothing.
 
weird I also just purchased a 30 gig local only web africa account and I can surf international fine but downloads for international are useless
 
I've had full 4mbit international speed this month on a local only account, not complaining :)

I was "capped" internationally yesterday for a short while, but today I can access all international sites. Even whilst being capped, MSN was working and able to login/logout.
 
yeah its weird but i'm not complaining either, I'm going to upgrade to 4mbit to make us of the international speed on my local account. How quick can one use a 30gig account with a 4mbit connection ?

Well I've got IS uncapped on a 4MB line and according to the stats I downloaded 186GB last mine, without even really trying, so probably pretty quickly. :)

Got the 30 GIG I.S Local done 8 gigs so far international FULL Speed LOL I.S must be sleeping today NICE ONE I.S keep up the good work LOL

theres always local cap going around on the IS local accounts, did 9 gigs the one time.
 
I bought a 30gb local only account from webafrica after reading this site, international worked beautifully when i got it, all of a sudden today international just died, can only access local

It is a local account afterall... u cant expect to get free things forever :D
 
Not reliable

I have Openweb 10GB local only, and I could get international for a while, but not anymore. It's not something you should rely on... You are paying for local-only afterall.
