Need for Speed-How to play online.

Here comes a real "I have no clue what to do" question,and I would really appreciate some assistance from you expert gamers.I recently purchased "Need for Speed-Carbon Collectors Edition" for my sons birthday and I have no idea how to help him set the game up to play online.

Playing the game normally presents no problem at all,however,when he tries to play an online game the messeage "unable to find opponents" or "unable to create game session" appears.

I have allowed the game access through my firewall but think that there is more that I need to do to allow him to play online.

Are any of you fundis able to help me help him? Thanks
