I thought this was already happening. Am I the only one living in this world? It makes so much sense to use a document management system instead of paper.
BTW, there will never (or not in the near future) be a paperless office - it's just to easy to write. I still use a notepad and pencil to make notes in meetings, and I still use Post-its for the odd message. The notepad is quicker than using my PDA (even with full qwerty keyboard), and Post-its are easier to pass around.
