Hi everyone,

I hope I'm not duplicating another question ... I am using the E620 card on Vista RC2 with the F@stlink software on MTN - I updated to the latest version yesterday and in my current location I get a full 5 bar signal. In spite of all of this I am still limited to 64kbps download (as reported in the software).

The LED on the card is green and the software displays HSDPA in the title bar. To eliminate any confusion I forced the card to connect 3G only and still limited to 64kbps.

Does anyone know of a reason for this software to be limited to 64kbps? I'm at my wits end ...

TIA

Hi MTNDD,

Thanks for the reply. I have been to this site and according to this my download speed is 44.1kbps and upload is 34.1kbps, i.e. less than one channel on ISDN ...

Thanks MTNDD,

I have also downloaded ginggs' E620Tool. I will use this at the office on Monday. Right now in my lounge at home I've gotten peaks of 109kbps received and 44kbps sent (according to E620tool).

I will keep you posted with results on Monday.

OK, in the office here on the 3G card I got similar speeds (again using E620Tool) i.e. 109kbps download and around 60kbps upload. I performed the same test using an iBurst UTD and from internetfrog I'm getting around 260-270kbps download and around 60kbps upload. The iBurst speedtest shows 783kbps download and 270kbps upload!

Regards
