alternative is cool too
Well I can tell you what my ahole government yuppie neighbours listen too. It's some kind of bass heavy afro techno rubbish. I can't even hear my own T.V  . Might I add they were at it again until early this morning for yet another weekend.
It's all your fault :p
Your tax money is paying your that chum's uber sound system :(
Anyway, I like rock. All the way from Beatles to some of the stuff out today. No rap metal:sick: . My fav is early 90's alternative and late 70's early 80's. I also like pop up until the last few years when it become so mass produced repetitive stuff that all sounds the same today. Last night I watched the best 80's rock songs on VH1. Strange to know all those songs when I wasn't even around for most of them.:o

@ alan, you need to get your hands on some Kiss or Van Halen, maybe some early Bowie or even some Alice Cooper, and you need to hit the high note guitar work on the FULL volume setting, that should liven up your neighbours especially at 7 or 8 am
I am talking serious heavy rock guitar work, nothing grates on the hung over neighbour more than that high note work:D
I like Gary Moore and Carlo Santana rock

Well I have given them some Rammstein before  . Unfortunately their sound system is like allien technology(again thanks you guys;) ) I got a huge system from a friend who used run a club but no speakers. My Hi Fi speakers can't even begin to handle it. Once I got some then we'll see what happens  . Anyway what about the other poor neighbours. I gonna go talk to them about these guys.
Hahah these aholes just said to me that they put up with my lawnmower and there music isn't that loud:eek: . So I said the garden people only come on Friday mornings and invited them to come into my lounge to try and watch some T.V.
*Looks through collection for some Heavy Metal*

Currently in my Joan Baez phase (only her 60s recordings ) - picked up 7 of her CD's recently. Her live concert recordings are brilliant.
From Country (Johnny Cash) to vintage rock for me :)
Not really into hip-hop / rap - although have a PvD and Portishead albums in my collection.

"Alternative" in its broadest sense, as in bands who are a little "left of centre" in their respective genres.
Big fan of hard rock from Zeppelin to Deftones.
Some alt. country is cool... <3 Neko Case
Hip Hop like Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, De La Soul.

Metal:
- Rhapsody
- Therion
- Blind Guardian
- Nightwish
- Samual
All of them ja, you might want to repeat number 1 and 3 about 20 times. I Love Blind Guardian and Rhapsody.
Now Blind Guardian are still making great heavy metal right now, and there are a lot of bands making good metal these days, they just aren't the popular ones. What you here through the radio or MTV etc obviously isn't going to be good metal.
btw, any idea where I can get Blind Guardian's 2003 Live CD? Its their only one I'm missing :(

I like weird/trippy/hypnotic Electronic music other than typical Rave, Trance and House. Trip-hop, Jazz (Electronic Jazz/Nu Jazz/Fusion), Acid Jazz, Breaks, Drum & Bass and some intelligent, street-smart Underground Hip-Hop - no Gangster Rap or Hip-Pop, and a bit of Alternative and Indie Rock too :)

Well, I like to listen to almost any kind of music. Hip Hop is to me extremely annoying, Rap even worse. My fav bands are AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Queen, Nirvana, Leonard Cohen, Eagles, Chris De Burgh, Laura Branigan, agggggh most 80's and very early 90's, even classical music. Today's music also has it's talent. Josh Groban, Celine, Incubus, Greenday etc.
I am listening to Depeche mode atm, and listened to Vivaldi just before. lol

Celine Dion looks like Michael Schumacher.
Celine Dion looks like Michael Schumacher.
And I'm repulsed by both of their personalities:sick:
Schumi's the best F1 driver and Celine made some of the best songs(years ago)
But Schumi's a cheat:sick:  and Celine goes on self righteous tirades and starts crying
Amazing that they are similar ;)
