This is really so silly, I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

I actually got capped on my telscum 3GB account, on the last day of the month.

This month's activity was:

No torrents
No downloads
A friend played 300mb worth of Battlefield
No torrents
No downloads



What the hell is up telscum? I can't access the usage tracker because I'm using WebAfrica prepaid now.

To make this fun loving occurrence better, there has been network problems in our area since 7'o clock this morning, the net only worked at 18:30.

Really funny, give yourself a hand telscum :sick: :sick: :sick:

How do you guys on 4mps do it? I'm on 512 ;)
 
I'm logged in and I cant access the usage tracker so perhaps there is still a problem?
 
Which one are you using bwana? I'm using the one on telkomsa.net and it won't log me in ;)

TIAL, are you using that account? If it's still usable, you're not capped, normally the hellish telscum allows you to go over the 3gig limit, guess not with me ;)
 
Sucks Tera. Really it does. Damn telskom.

If yo only use so little bandwidth per month why don't you try some other provider like WebAfrica?
 
My account ussage this month

Telkominternet - 8.573gigs
Openweb - 65.488gigs

None of my accounts are capped yet!! Thanks Openweb!!

Only reason to sell your soul to the devil is if you are going to rape the account with downloads and actually get something like your money's worth, like 10+ gigs out of the acc...

You wont go wrong with WebAfrica.

Telkomisaloser do you know you signature is incorrect?

Yours = 1 Gigabyte (Gb) = 1000 Megabytes (Mb)

Correct = 1 Gigabyte (Gb) = 1024 Megabytes (Mb)

And there is a difference between Mb's and MB's
 
I thought I was capped yesterday, because my telscum account would not authenticate.

Today, when I arose from a deep slumber, I checked it again and it did the same. I wasn't in the mood to speak to telscum so I used my Webafrica account to change the telscum adsl password on telscumsa.net.

Then it worked, bloody hell, has this happened to anyone in the past?

I've been using the same password for almost a year, I can't believe they'd mess around with it, and no one knows it, also, I used it log into the telscum password tool? :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
I get mails throughout the month from telscum and every mail showed that my usage was 0gb up or down which is strange as the tracker was showing and average of about 50mb a day (me use routesentry) so I thought I'd use my 4mb line on the last day and managed to get a nice 29gb of data on the last day before the month was over...

The silly thing is just that on my 4mb line I can (if telscum enforced strict capping rules) get capped in roughly 2 hours...so what about the rest of the 742 hours in a month??? (if this was a 31 day month...)
