After about 7 phone calls and about 5 faxes I am officially waiting for my modem to arrive. My advice would be to avoid dealing with their computer systems as much as possible and deal with a human. I found their call center staff helpful and they answered the phone immediately.

Their computers systems are another thing alltogether. From not allowing me to specify what type of modem I wanted to being unable to generate and e-mail me the form that I need. Truly terrible. In the end I had to phone the call center repeatedly...

I am now hoping that I get the correct modem within 7 business days...

I doubt it.

A tip to anyone considering signing up - DON'T! The treatment pkid has received above is pretty much how they treat you when you're a potential customer.

As an ex-sentech mw user, I can say that once they have your signed contract or your money, they go out of their way to treat you as badly as possible.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! EVEN TELKOM IS BETTER!

Guys consider going through a reseller. Prices are the same or similar, and if the reseller is worth his salt, he will come to your home/office, check signal and get you signed up there and then. No delays or waiting, dealing with people over the phone and so on.

I must admit that I have been pretty happy with them. They have had one network fault that affected me since I joined. They followed up and let me know what was happening and even phoned after they had fixed the fault to check to see if my Internet was back up and running. So I would give them 10/10. Of course things could change...

But do try to avoid nowire if you can. Once you have signed on the dotted line that the last you will hear from them. Dont expect statements, call backs or support because you will be better off doing it all yourself.

Seem to be some mixed reactions to them around the forums.

Not sure I'd be so keen to join up.
