While waiting 38 minutes on the phone for telkom today

the 38 minutes is part of one of Papi's pillars of ****. He has a few of them.
 
after hitting 23 again this morning i gave up. will try after lunch ... although who knows when that happens over there? between 10 and 3 maybe .... ??? :confused:
 
I waited for 28min for 0800375375, but the thing is, I was using a Telkom cellphone at Telkom Direct :D Ha ha ha..... That's like R50 or something.
 
can you sing the tune that they play ;)

The biggest shock of my life came when Telkom answered the phone right away... I didn't know what to do! I was still making a bowl of Cocopops in the kitchen and had to run across the house to the speaker phone...

rofl, I had that once. I think I almost hung up the phone in embarrassment cos I hadn't figured out what I was gonna say yet.
 
woooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooooooooo i got through!!!! 14 minutes, 20 seconds. can't remember the conversation though .... was in such a trance after beating my pick-up record!!!!!!!! :o
 
problem is they'd have to tell you you're 4,348,583 in the queue. then we'd all know that 99% of the country is also engaged, also hanging on for them.

they could at least put a radio station on as hold music ...
 
well I will kick myself for waiting 25 min and hanging up and I was next inline.:(

Think it would atleast give us a clearer picture.:rolleyes:

well the common theory amongst my friends is that they keep everyone waiting at least 10 minutes, hoping you'll drop the call. that way, one less complaint, one less thing to do...
