Whats the most you've squeezed out of your softcap?

I cant stream YouTube videos anymore, but that doesn't mean I can't download them :D
 
In winter (reduced risk of lightning) I have run torrents 24 hours a day after reaching my cap. Torrents might be slow but you can still manage 5 or 6 gigs in 2 weeks.
 
Most I had is 6gigs over using the DC++... now I don't bother anymore I let the Uncapped users get things for me :D
 
I think I was also close to 30 gigs last year on my lil 1G package :D but i run out of things to download this year :(
 
ya, Despite all this crap with ISP's being stingy with bandwidth it doesn't seem that the problem is the actual amount of data being downloaded, its the fact that if u were uncapped u would probably sit and download 24/7 at 1Mb/s and in the case of a wireless provider that means hogging actual space in the frequency spectrum which is the REAL money maker for them (theres only so much available). Hence ppl moaning bout over loaded base stations. At 64k u can squeeze alot more people on a base station.
 
I think the problem is more between the ibursts servers and the internet than the user and the iburst servers.
 
Most I have had was around 23GB in Dec last year, when the cap was not working after the 25th of dec. Bought a rapidshare account and got a nice amount off there. That was without DC++.
 
This month so far, 15Gb over the cap.........

I keep having to change my ports on Azureus - this seems to do the trick.

What is Dc++ ?
