Since Vodacom now charges effectively 19c/MB for a 2048MB data bundle will Virgin reduce their price to 20c/MB after Cell C responds. The 50c/MB is quite stale already. :)

PS: Can someone also change that stupid interface to php please. It's annoying when you can't see the pricing structure even on a VIRGIN CONNECTION.
 
and still no ppdb on vodacom,they still suck.they still want to milk da people 2rand/meg for as long as possible.Why must companies be so greedy,

Yep waiting for a reduction in price for prepaid as well. They have no billing probs with prepaid so wtf. If i Pay cash in shops I get a better price as credit so wtf if we prepay for stuff should we be punished :confused: :mad:

they just want people tied into 2yr contracts.... :-(
 
I wonder what Virgin's reaction will be on the launching of PPB's by VC yesterday. At this moment it looks if the cheapest option will be the 500 Megabyte for R189.00 @ .38 cents per Meg for prepaid customers.
 
Virgin should offer free internet.

Then they should use another bad ad that says: Viva Free internet! Viva! :D ;) :p

The cheapest is R389 for 2GB so it's nearly 19c/MB. 50c/MB will no longer do. I guess it depends on Cell C which is dead quiet but I will give VM another month or two.
 
But these bundles must be used in a month and no carry over, or can they be? I will stay pre_paid for another month @50c a meg with VM.I don't want fixed monthly bundles which you must buy every month.Question, If I purchase a 2gb bundle @R389 can I use it freely and as long as I want to?

No it expires after 30 days.

CellBel i think that VM is more concerned about sorting out their speeds right now instead of worrying about the price, but at least they started the ball rolling by cutting the price and bringing the big guns to their knees, well done Virgin you've proved a point, but i'm sure that a price adjustment is on the cards!!! What do you say Gerald??

One thing you can be certain of is that wherever possible we will continue to challenge the market.

As for speeds and data performance...correct we are working hard with technical teams to get the situation sorted.

Apology, should read = what i can afford is the R189.00 @ .38c Per\Meg and not the bigger bundles.
