After using computers for a hell of long time just learnt something new. To open in a new tab i have always right clicked and selected open in new tab, now dork over here was busy bashing said mouse on table and suddenly found out that by pushing the centre wheel it opens it in a new tab. :o

Thanks for sharing, this will sure speed up surfing... :D

He means if you want to open a link in a new tab, you middle click it.

If you middle click on a tab itself, it closes the tab.

yea, on most tabbed UI's the standard seems to be middle click opens new tab, and middle clicking on the tab name/label itself will close that tab. works like that in Visual Studio 2005 too.

if u have a logitech mouse, they're middle buttons are set to default middle button click...if that makes sense :P
