As far as I have been told by Adobe EMEA is that the pricing structure and strategy will be pretty much the same...
Just another bit of interesting information... Did you know that you can take ANY version of Adobe Photoshop and turn it into the FULL Creative Suite Standard or Premium at a discounted price? Basically it's Adobe's way of saying thanks for purchasing Photoshop. :p It's all in the licensing to those of you who are interested you will just need your original photoshop licence . We have taken people that have Photoshop version 2! to the full CS2 Suite :p
In the latest Creative Suite 2.3 Premium Adobe went and included Dreamweaver! :-D
Also I currently have a whole bunch of 30 day Trial versions of Photoshop Version 9. If anyone is interested you are more than welcome to come through to our premises to pick up a copy. Hey it's Free! :-D
We also have 30 day Trails for Adobe's new Lightroom and Aperture. Also for Creative Suite Premium 2.

I held off upgrading to 2 until it went universal so I should be able to convince the powers that be.
I only really want photoshop and illustrator - I'm happy with my current dreamweaver version and I wouldnt switch to inDesign if they paid me.
I beta'ed Lightroom and it is nice but I've decided Aperture was more for me - I just havent taken the plunge and imported my iPhoto library over yet.

What does the upgrade from Elements 2 to CS3 cost? Also, is the new Dreamweaver Universal? My MX2004 really chugs slowly on my MacBook.

I think I just want an upgrade for Illustrator and Photoshop. Dreamweaver 8 is fine for me and I use Quark so inDesign is a waste of HDD space.
...inDesign is a waste of HDD space.
Blasphemer!
:D
Indesign FTW!

Despite the fact that this is a mac thread... CS3 makes me moist.
Seems mac folk are more up to date than the PC people on the forum ;)

I've used Quark for so many years switching to inDesign really isnt worth it.
I tried it in the first CS and at the time it was good - just not as good. :o I liked the integration with illustrator and photoshop but I've managed without it so its not worth it to me to switch just for that.
And of course I use a mac :)
Dreamweaver CS3 is still not available for trial download (preorder only) but once it does I will give Dreamweaver 8 the boot based on what I have read has been improved in CS3.
Also I currently have a whole bunch of 30 day Trial versions of Photoshop Version 9. If anyone is interested you are more than welcome to come through to our premises to pick up a copy. Hey it's Free! :-D
I used to use Photoshop on a PC but really want to try it on my Macbook, however I got a demo from Apple in the Waterfront and it only worked for 2 flippen days, why?
I did get the 30 day trial version if I remember correctly.
Cheers
