Hahaha they should have included the fact that are are planning not to work at all on providing you with more value-for-money for the rest of this year.

Not that I won't enjoy my 500mb though...

What, my letter looks a bit different!

I received this e-mail aswell...

Can anyone verify if it is genuine, seems so as far as I can see by just looking at headers. I haven't dug deeper, there's no time today.

To be honest this looks like an attempt to pacify the heaps of unhappy people on this forum, it appears to have been targeted to specific subscribers who are members of MyADSL i.e. to shut us up!

iBurst- F***K YOU, you can shove it up your ass! My ADSL line is on it's way!

Well if they're trying to pacify us in particular, atleast they're listening :D

Ja, seems they do listen but I suspect it's the clout this forum has, and they're trying to either implement damage control or they're trying to stay out of the bad press. Anything is possible I guess. The original 500 megs for contracts only hacked off scores of people far and wide.

It's too little too late, am waiting for ADSL. They pissed me off once too often!

Have you seen the new Iburst charges for extra bandwidth? That's enough reason in itself!

Yep, but as I've mentioned in the news thread. It's sad that they've increased the price BUT its in-line with the other wireless competitors AND you getting more bandwidth for your buck within the package your in.

You should have an idea of how much bandwidth you use within the first month. If your looking at downloading large amounts I don't think any wireless provider is suitable.

For those on contracts who got the 500MB fillup in March, did the bandwidth report at the beginning of the month show:

G3 - 3.42GB or 3.5GB
G6 - 6.35GB or 6.5GB
G9 - 9.28GB or 9.5GB

My G3 showed 3.5GB when I checked after reset.

The whole extra bandwidth thing is retarded, the only people scoring from this are the guys at the lower end of the spectrum. G1 M2M get 50% free data...whereas G9 (the new lamely dubbed "Pro Addict") gets about 5% free...

Shouldn't the bandwidth allocation increase per package?

So because the other wireless providers are ripping their clients off it makes it acceptable for iBurst to do the same?

There is NO justification for the HUGE increases in the after the cap bandwidth prices.

It is not sad, it is an indication of market abuse and lack of authority in the regulator.

Edited to add: I also got my "pleased to inform you" mail to which I replyed with my own, but this got returned as spam (didn't change the subject line nor did I use harsh or abusive language)
